What IPO GMP Track provides
IPO GMP Track is an independent IPO tracker for Indian retail investors. We combine grey market premium (GMP), subscription rates, key dates, allotment links, and listing results in one place so you can compare Mainboard and SME issues without switching between multiple websites.
We are not a SEBI-registered advisor, broker, or research house. We do not publish buy/sell recommendations. Our role is to organise publicly available IPO information and add educational context — guides, glossary, market pulse summaries, and per-IPO explainers — so you can make informed decisions using official filings as the final reference.
Data sources
IPO price bands, lot sizes, issue size, bidding windows, allotment dates, and listing dates are collected from public market data networks and cross-checked against exchange announcements where possible. GMP figures reflect unofficial grey-market quotes circulating before listing — they are sentiment indicators, not exchange prices.
The live index bar (NIFTY 50, SENSEX, and BANK NIFTY) is fetched from Yahoo Finance via our /api/market endpoint, cached for 60 seconds on the server, and refreshed in the browser on the same interval. These quotes are for general market context only — not investment advice — and may be delayed or differ slightly from official NSE/BSE feeds.
Subscription rates are updated when issuers and registrars publish bid details during the open period. Listing gain percentages are calculated from the issue price and the stock's debut performance once trading begins. Allotment status links point to official registrar pages when available.
IPO news summaries on our news page are generated from licensed RSS headlines and rewritten for brevity. Always read the original publisher for full context. We label AI-assisted summaries clearly on that page.
Update schedule
GMP and subscription data for Open and Upcoming IPOs refresh automatically twice daily (morning and evening IST) via our scraper pipeline. Closed and Listed issues are retained for historical reference but are not actively re-scraped for GMP in most cases.
Category labels (Open, Upcoming, Closed, Listed) are recalculated from dates so the home page filter stays accurate even between scraper runs. Each IPO detail page shows when data was last updated when that timestamp is available.
If you notice a discrepancy — wrong date, missing allotment link, stale GMP — use the feedback form on the home page. We review reports and correct records manually when needed.
Original content on this site
Beyond the data table, we publish original educational content written for Indian IPO investors: guides on GMP, applying via UPI ASBA, checking allotment, SME IPO differences, a glossary, FAQ, and daily market pulse commentary generated from live IPO statistics on our home page.
IPO detail pages include contextual analysis — how current GMP compares to the price band, what subscription levels imply for retail allotment odds, and category-specific timelines. This text is generated from each IPO's live fields, not copied from third-party articles.
We deliberately avoid duplicating full RHP/DRHP financial statements. For company fundamentals, use SEBI and exchange filings. Our added value is timeliness, comparison across issues, and plain-English explanation of metrics retail investors actually use.
Limitations you should know
GMP is unofficial and can change within hours. It does not guarantee listing price or allotment. Subscription figures may lag official registrar updates during heavy bidding days.
Index quotes in the header ticker come from a third-party API and are not sourced directly from NSE or BSE. Do not use them for trading decisions without verifying on an official exchange terminal.
We do not guarantee accuracy of third-party data. Numbers can contain typographical errors from upstream sources. Verify price band, dates, and lot size in the Red Herring Prospectus before applying.
Listed IPO pages are kept for historical lookup but are not indexed in search engines — our focus is active and recently closed issues where GMP and subscription still help investors.
How to use this site responsibly
Start with the RHP/DRHP and company financials. Use IPO GMP Track to monitor GMP trends and subscription momentum while an issue is open. Compare multiple IPOs when your application budget is limited.
Read our guides if you are new to IPOs. Treat GMP as one input among many — sector sentiment, issue pricing, and your own risk tolerance matter more than a single premium figure.
